Quick update

Tomorrow at 11:20am Brendon will have his port removed. I know everything will be fine, but I'm really nervous. It's been a long time since he's been in for surgery. It's only a quick procedure, but I'm still nervous. Brendon is very excited to have it out. Please pray for peace of mind for all of us tomorrow. We would really appreciate it.

I wanted to update on the mini bike plate status. Since the last post Washington, Wyoming, and Virginia have been sent. These are the states that we do not have yet: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Wisconsin.

The party plans are in full swing. Thanks to everyone who has RSVP'd so far. We're very excited to see you all there. I will be in touch with everyone who has asked to bring something. I'm still finalizing the menu. We appreciate the offers.

Have a great night!

Update

Happy Mother's Day! Today I received a very pretty bracelet from Brendon that had his initials engraved on the front (BAD) and on the back it had "courage 2009" engraved. I hope you all had a wonderful day. Mine has been very relaxing.

People have been asking for a list of the states that we do not have for the mini bike plates. They are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. If you need more information or if you'd like to send one for the state we are missing, please let me know. Thanks again to everyone who has mailed them in so far.

If you would like to attend Brendon's party, you can visit http://www.evite.com/app/publicUrl/XWLUJEQWRPKYIKEHSZBY/brendondunn and rsvp with your name, e-mail address and the amount of guests that will be attending. It seems to be working out pretty well so far. It's a little more "green" to send the invitation electronically instead of mailing invites out to everyone. Please feel free to forward the evite to anyone that I may have forgotten. I really hope everyone can make it. It should be a fun day!

Please pray that Brendon's port removal goes smoothly on Wednesday. He's really excited to get it out. After his port removed we are planning on going up to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital to let them know that he's all done. We haven't been there in a while so we're pretty excited to see them all.

Finally, here are a few updated pictures. Enjoy!
